Hello & welcome

Hi, I’m Camilla

I’m a Couples Counselor based in Frankfurt, Germany, where I live with my international family. Originally from Denmark, I’ve lived in six different countries since my early twenties. Through my own experiences of moving abroad, adapting to new cultures, and building a life far from home, I understand how rewarding — and sometimes challenging — an international life can be.

As a Couples Counselor, I specialize in supporting international couples and expats as they navigate the complexities of relationships across cultures, life transitions, communication, and emotional connection. Whether you’re experiencing recurring conflicts, feeling disconnected from your partner, or trying to find your way through the challenges of building a life together abroad, I offer a space where you can explore your relationship with curiosity, honesty, and compassion.

My professional background combines a BA in Intercultural & International Social Counseling from Copenhagen with an MA in International Relations, specializing in Migration, from Brussels. I’m also a certified Couples Counselor and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Practitioner, and I’m currently completing my Masters in Psychotherapy.

My passion for this work is also shaped by becoming a parent. Parenthood can transform almost every aspect of life — from your identity and priorities to the dynamics of your relationship. For international families, these transitions can come with additional layers of complexity, especially when navigating different cultural backgrounds, family expectations, and life far from your support network.

These experiences have strengthened my desire to support expats, international couples, and parents in caring for their relationships and mental well-being while creating a life that feels meaningful and connected.

Alongside my counselling work, I co-host Expecting Expats, a podcast created by and for expat parents. Together with my co-host, Amanda Graybill, founder of Mindful Mama Frankfurt, we share experiences, insights, and knowledge to help international parents feel more connected and less alone in their journeys.

Whether you’re navigating a difficult season in your relationship, adjusting to life abroad, or simply wanting to understand each other better, I look forward to supporting you in finding a way forward that feels right for you.

I look forward to hearing from you.
